Welcome to the Vintage Tours blog! This blog is generally aimed at the 'enthusiasts' interested in what's going on with our coaches, and photographs and reports of continental tours. If you are looking for details of our tours, please visit our main site, vintage-tours.co.uk
About Vintage Tours
Vintage Tours was originally founded by John Woodhams in 1987 to operate occasional tours with restored vintage motor coaches, and although this still forms part of the operation, many of our tours are now rail based continental touring holidays. The programme is deliberately small, so that virtually all tours are personally escorted. The vintage coaches are still used, and apart from our own tours, are also available for hire for weddings and other special occasions.
lovely pictures, great looking bus. I was on a new double decker yesterday. with fancy hydraulics and TV moniters..I was amused that the alarms kept going off and at the station the doors jammed and the driver had to force them open. I found myself doubting wether it would last long enough to warrent a place in the museum.
